Artist Jeweler and Designer
In my work, metal becomes a canvas and jewelry a conversation between nature, the human form, and the soul. As a metalsmith, I am captivated by the raw beauty of natures elements the intricate patterns of leaves, the fluidity of water, the resilience of stone and channel this into designs that are at once bold and elegant, and sometimes with a whisper of whimsy.
Each piece I create is a moment frozen in time, a reflection of the harmony and tension between the organic world and the human spirit. I sculpt metal with intention, coaxing it into shapes that evoke both strength and softness, inviting the wearer to experience beauty that speaks to their inner power and grace. My work is more than adornment; it is a celebration of individuality and the confidence that comes from wearing something uniquely yours. Through my jewelry, I strive to connect with the wearer, making them feel both seen and elevated, wrapped in a piece of art that is as captivating and transformative as the world around us.
A little about the Artist...
For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved creating, whether it was drawing, painting or sculpting, I’ve always been drawn to anything a can create with my hands. When I was stuck trying to figure out what I wanted for a career path, I accidentally signed up for a Jewelry fabrication class at Austin Community College. Which then lead me to complete my Jewelers Certificate from ACC and then my BFA in Metalsmithing from Texas State University.
After a long blip working in the corporate world and then having the privilege to teach basic jewelry making at Creative Side Austin, then the excitement of motherhood, I have finally gotten back into my groove to start creating again. I am grateful for finally being able to take that leap and do what I love, and that’s making my “artsy” jewelry… lol as my doting family likes to call it.
